Your TV, controlled by any AI —
from anywhere.
Pair your smart TV once. Then ask your AI — on any device, from anywhere — to play a show, launch an app, or press any button. No new remote. No extra screens. Just type or speak what you want.
Three primitives. One remote
that understands sentences.
Play anything by name.
"Scrubs S2E5" routes to whichever streaming service you already pay for, in the right country — Netflix, Disney+, Max, Apple TV+, and more.
Control every button.
Volume, channel, power, arrow keys, home, back. Your AI can press anything your real remote can.
See what's on screen.
Ask "what's playing right now?" or "what app is open?" — TVWizard reads the TV state back so your AI actually knows what's happening.
The Harmony remote is dead.
Long live TVWizard.
Logitech shut down Harmony in May 2025. If you loved Harmony for its one-tap activities and universal device support, you'll feel at home. TVWizard does all of that — and now the remote is your AI, not a plastic brick.
- One-tap activitiesRoutines like "Movie night" still work — just say it.
- Multi-device supportAny TV, soundbar, or box exposed as MCP targets.
- Works from anywhereNot just your living-room Wi-Fi.
- No hardware to buyIf your TV runs Android or Google TV.
Hands-free TV
that actually listens.
For anyone who finds a remote hard — limited mobility, low vision, arthritis, or just tired of tiny buttons — TVWizard lets you say exactly what you want, in your own words. Works with the AI tools your family already uses, so there's no new app to learn.
For caregivers and facilitiesFrom zero to voice-controlled TV
in about two minutes.
Install the bridge
Open your TV's browser, type tv.djwizard.ai/install, tap Download. Two minutes, no developer tools.
Pair with a 6-digit code
The TV shows the code, you paste it into Claude. Done.
Talk to your AI
From anywhere. Phone, laptop, smart speaker, car. Your TV obeys.
Free to try.
Honest when you need more.
Every paid tier includes the full remote stack — natural-language play, multi-TV, and priority relay. No nickel-and-diming.
Still deciding?
The questions we get most. Email hi@tv.djwizard.ai for anything not covered here.
Which TVs work?
Any TV running Android TV or Google TV — Sony, TCL, Hisense, Xiaomi, Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia Shield, and more. Samsung Tizen and LG WebOS are on the roadmap.
Does my AI need special setup?
If you use Claude, no. TVWizard plugs in as an MCP server — Claude discovers it automatically once you're paired. Other MCP-compatible clients (Cursor, Zed, Home Assistant) work too.
Does the TV need to be on my Wi-Fi?
The bridge app on the TV needs internet. You do not need to be on the same network as the TV — that's the whole point. Control your living-room TV from a hotel room across the world.
Is it private?
Your commands pass through our cloud relay to reach your TV. We don't log the content of your requests, and we never sell data. The bridge code is open source so you can audit exactly what runs on your TV. Self-hosting is coming.
What if my TV is offline?
TVWizard fails loudly, not silently. Your AI gets an immediate error — no ghost commands queued up.
Can it open YouTube videos, Spotify playlists, or specific Netflix shows?
Yes. Natural-language title resolution routes to the right app and deep link in your country.
Do I need a Claude subscription?
A free Claude account works for light use. Pro gets you the full experience. TVWizard itself is the separate subscription listed above.
